Position : Factory Manager

Location : Silvertondale – Pretoria

Salary : Negotiable

Job Type : Permanent

Responsibilities

Factory management

Opening and locking of Factory

Delegation of duties to all employees, in conjunction with department manager.

Management of Staff / Staff Issues

Efficient time management

Deadlines must be managed vigorously

Inspection of manufactured items.

Monthly Reports

Management of Dispatch area.

Ensure the furniture gets wrapped and in good order before it goes out.

Manage Production list

Waste Management

Constant Quality Management

 

Housekeeping

Maintain Clean factory as well as parking area and driveway

Manage each department work areas and ensure good housekeeping

 

Reporting

Reporting of comebacks to repair

Ensure showroom has stock

Factory Storeman

Position : Factory Storeman / Stock Controller Vacancy

Location : Silvertondale – Pretoria

Salary : Negotiable

Closing Date : 9 October 2017

Job Type : Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Tracking Inventory. Monitor current stock levels to decide if more should be ordered, as well as organizing existing inventory, so it is easily and safely accessible.
  • Minimising waste and reducing expenditure where possible
  • Managing production usage of utilities to reduce consumption and costs
  • Managing manufacturing expenses and consumables
  • Managing storeroom and ensure no access by unauthorised individuals.
  • Ordering all Stock and allocating accordingly.
  • Keeping accurate record of all allocated items, quantities and persons receiving items.
  • Generating monthly reports
  • Managing continuous improvement projects
  • Managing adherence to safety requirements
  • Managing adherence to product requirements
  • Conducting quality checks on outgoing products ensuring only top quality products leave the factory.
  • Coordinating our daily deliveries.

Personal Competencies / Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • A minimum of a matric or equivalent.
  • Literate (able to read and write in English).
  • Must be computer literate and Good administrative skills.
  • Good understanding of maintenance requirements, processes, methods and good practice.
  • Good understanding of stocktaking and stores.
  • Disciplined and able to enforce rules
  • Good problem solving abilities. Strong organisational skills
  • Good project execution skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.Must have the ability to work and manage a multi-cultural environment.
